1. EPS Control Unit - Update
NOTE: Check any official service website for more information about updating
the MVCI and control
units

NOTE: The indicator comes on when the reprogramming fails.
1. Problem verification:
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
Check the EPS indicator.
Does the EPS indicator come on, then go off?

1. EPS system check:
Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
Disconnect the following connectors.
EPS control unit connector B (6P)
EPS control unit connector C (2P)

2. Driver's Power Window Motor - Test
Test the motor in each direction by connecting 12 volt battery power
and ground to the connector (A) according to the table. When the motor
stops running, disconnect 12 volt battery power immediately.

Test-drive the vehicle in a straight line at 6 mph (10 km/h) or more.
