Honda HR-V: Roof Molding Removal and Installation

Removal & Installation

1. Roof Molding - Remove

Exterior Trim - Service Information

  1. Apply the protective tape (A) to the body
  2. Remove the front end of the roof molding (B) from the pin (C).

Exterior Trim - Service Information

  1. Remove the roof molding (A).

Exterior Trim - Service Information

  1. Remove the rear end of the roof molding (A) from the pin (B).

2. All Removed Parts - Install

  1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

ROOF RAIL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1. Roof Rail - Remove

Exterior Trim - Service Information

  1. Remove the caps (A).

Exterior Trim - Service Information

  1. Remove the nuts with a TORX T30 bit
  2. Remove the roof rail (A).

2. Roof Molding - Remove

Exterior Trim - Service Information

  1. Remove the front roof molding (A) and rear roof molding end (B) from the pins (C).

3. All Removed Parts - Install

  1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
