REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
CARGO AREA LIGHT REMOVAL, INSTALLATION, AND TEST
Removal & Installation
1. Cargo Area Light - Remove
- Carefully pry off the cargo area light (A) to the side to release the
hook and pull out the light
- Disconnect the connector (B)
- Remove the bulb (C) from the cargo area light.
2. All Removed Parts - Install
- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
Test
1. Cargo Area Light - Test
NOTE : When doing the cargo area light test, make
sure to install the bulb correctly.
- Check for continuity between the terminals in
each switch position according to the table
- If the continuity is not as specified, replace the
bulb or the cargo area light (A).
CEILING LIGHT REMOVAL, INSTALLATION, AND TEST
Removal & Installation
1. Ceiling Light - Remove
- Turn the ceiling light switch OFF
- Carefully pry off the lens (A)
- Remove the ceiling light (B)
- Disconnect the connector (C)
- Remove the bulb (D).
2. All Removed Parts - Install
- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
Test
1. Ceiling Light - Test
NOTE : When doing the ceiling light test, make sure
to install the bulb correctly.
- Check for continuity between the terminals in
each switch position according to the table
- If the continuity is not as specified, replace the
bulb or the ceiling light (A).
CONSOLE BOX LIGHT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Removal & Installation
1. Center Console Panel - Remove
2. Console Box Light - Remove
- Turn the console box light (A) counterclockwise to remove it from
the center console.
3. All Removed Parts - Install
- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
FRONT INDIVIDUAL MAP LIGHT REMOVAL, INSTALLATION, AND TEST
Removal & Installation
1. Front Individual Map Light - Remove
With moonroof
Without moonroof
- Turn the front individual map light switch
OFF
- Carefully pry off the lenses (A)
- Remove the front individual map light (B)
- Disconnect the connector (C)
- Remove the bulb(s) (D).
2. All Removed Parts - Install
- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
Test
1. Front Individual Map Light - Test
With moonroof
Without moonroof
NOTE : When doing the front individual map light
test, make sure to install the bulbs correctly.
- Check for continuity between the terminals in
each switch position according to the table
- If the continuity is not as specified, replace the
bulb(s) or the front individual map light (A).
INTERIOR LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL, INSTALLATION, AND TEST
Removal & Installation
1. Front Individual Map Light - Remove
2. Interior Light Switch - Remove
3. All Removed Parts - Install
- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
Test
1. Interior Light Switch - Test
NOTE : The interior light switch (A) is built into the interior
light/moonroof switch (B), and it switches the front individual map
light OFF and DOOR positions.
- Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch
position according to the table
- If the continuity is not as specified the interior light switch is
faulty; replace the interior light/moonroof switch.
VANITY MIRROR LIGHT REMOVAL, INSTALLATION, AND TEST
Removal & Installation
NOTE : The vanity mirror light is built into the sunvisor.
1. Vanity Mirror Light - Remove
- Carefully pry off the lens (A)
- Remove the bulb (B) from the vanity mirror light.
2. All Removed Parts - Install
- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
Test
1. Sunvisor - Remove
2. Vanity Mirror Light - Test
NOTE : When doing the vanity mirror light test, install
the bulb correctly.
3. All Removed Parts - Install
- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
