Honda HR-V: Customized Features

Use the audio/information screen to customize certain features.

When you customize settings:

  • Make sure that the vehicle is at a complete stop.

Continuously variable transmission models

  • Shift to (P).

Manual transmission models

  • Set the parking brake.

■ How to customize

While the vehicle is at a complete stop with the ignition switch in ON (II), press the MENU/CLOCK button, then select Settings. To customize the phone settings, press the button, then select
Phone Setup.

These indications are used to show how to operate the selector knob.

Defaulting All the Settings

Reset all the menu and customized settings as the factory defaults.

1. Select HOME.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select System.

  • Repeat the procedure to select the Others tab, then Factory Data Reset.
  • The confirmation message will appear.

4. Select Yes to reset the settings.

5. Select Yes again to reset the settings.

  • The confirmation message will appear.

    Select OK.

Customized Features


When you transfer the vehicle to a third party, reset all settings to default and delete all personal data.

The following settings will be reset:

  • Audio preset settings
  • Phonebook entries
  • Other display and personal settings.
